EI100T "Titanic Award" Update I
Created on Friday, 27 April 2012 07:01

The Titanic Award is available to radio amateurs who work EI100T on at least two bands or modes during 2012. Issued awards will be marked with a special endorsement if you worked EI100T during the weekend of April 14th & 15th 2012To request the award, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. giving your callsign and postal address. No fees are required.

We have had many stations in touch with us about the award. To confirm, as long as you work EI100T on at least two bands or modes during 2012 you will receive an award. Unfortunately propagation conditions during the Commemoration Weekend were very poor across the Atlantic and this has lead to requests for a relaxation of the endorsement requirement; following discussion it has been decided to leave the requirements for the endorsement unchanged i.e. to qualify for the endorsement, you must have contacted EI100T between 0000 on April 14th and 2359 on April 15th 2012.
